Complaint about Gemporia
I have been an avid supporter of Gemporia since its inception- way back when. I love to buy gemstones I ordinarily wouldn't have found anywhere else. Great customer service too. BUT... I am so fed up of having gemstones fall out when I have worn it for the FIRST time! Every time I have lost gemstones, I've been offered a refund because the said items are no longer available. That might be acceptable to Gemporia but it is NOT acceptable in my book. Gemporia goes on and on about securing beautiful parcels of gemstones from Mother earth and then sets them in designs where gemstones fall out and are lost for all eternity. If Gemporia prides itself on its jewellery- why haven't they done more to ensure the said gemstones are set securely in their designs? I cannot tell you how devastating it was to see the joy in my daughter's face replaced with dismay when not one but two gemstones fell out of her bracelet the first time she wore it. If Gemporia does not up its craftmanship I will make sure everyone knows never to buy jewellery from them unless it is channel set or set in a more robust, secure design. This has happened to too many people- too many times. It is not acceptable. It makes me query whether making money is more important than customer satisfaction.
