Problems cancelling membership

Complaint about Xercise4Less

After trying to cancel my membership at the gym in Nov 16 I was directed online, I did not have the 'W' number necessary to do so I cancelled my direct debit at the end of December 16. Then I started receiving letters from Harlands and CRS for disproportionate sums to settle. It now stands at nearly £300 to call them off. This is for a £20 a month membership. I have tried writing and they just send me more letters with even bigger fees on them. I have written to cab and I am awaiting a response.
