No Alert for Exceeding Text Limit

Complaint about EE

Similar to the story of Rowena and her overuse of her calling minutes, I accidentally exceeded my text margins over quite a large margin this month. As a student who is sent away on placements, I was away from home and was thus texting more than usual. Again, I fully accept responsibility for using the texts, but I just think it is absolutely ridiculous that there is no kind of warning when customers go over their limits. I was interested to hear that Rowena got half of her money refunded by EE, and wondering whether as I am in a similar situation, what the process was for this, and whether I would also be eligible.
