Unwanted "Product Support AG" direct debits

Complaint about Currys PC World

Hi, Like many other customers, I have been paying for a service that I DO NOT WANT (and do not even know what it is!) for the past 2 years. When I bought my computer, the sales person insisted that I agree sign up for a free trial for this service. After saying no 3 times, he eventually made me feel uncomfortable enough to say yes, and I was ensured that it would take a simple click on my online bank account to stop the service after the free trial period. This was a lie. I went back to the shop several times and was told that they could not stop the debits on my bank account and that I should go to my bank, which was also unable to help. I bought the computer in Jan 2015 and started to get charged £7.50/mth for "Product Support AG" in April 2015. A total of £187 has now been stolen from my account. Could you please help to put an end to this, and stop these direct debits? Thanks, Elena

Thanks for getting back to me Elena. I have located and cancelled your agreement now so no future payments will be taken. Due to the time frame that this agreement has been in place, there is no refunded entitlement. However, I would recommend contacting your bank to complete an indemnity form, which will allow them to investigate a refund for you. - Leanne S
