Complaint about Vodafone

I took out a galaxy note 7 last year around August and due to all the problem with the phones they were recalled twice. I requested for Vodafone to cancel my contract as of September. Vodafone did not cancel it and are still charging me for the phone to date as they say I have an outstanding balance. they have also sent my account to there debt collector who have a different balance on my account compared to what Vodafone have. i now refuse to make a payment to either Vodafone or Ardent there debt collectors as the balances are different and neither are able to resolve this because they cannot contact each other now i don't know what to do and neither can help as I will not be refunded if I pay to the debt collectors and my credit scoring will be affected.
