Complaint about IWOOT

I purchased a Rug from IWOOT on 25/03/2017 and was informed on 28/03/2017 that the item had been dispatched. They had also debited the money for payment from my account. Needless to say I did not receive my item, after numerous e-mails sent to customer service, of which not one of them received a response. I then contacted [email protected], and coincidentally I them had access to my account again and a customer service rep contacted me with the same repetitive response I had received more than once. I was repeatedly assured that the matter was in hand and my item would be with me soon. By chance I went to Dunelm, which is the main distributor of the rug I purchased, where I was going to place the order with them, thankfully I had a Honest Customer Service Assistant, who assured me that the Rug was not in stock, would not be for some time, if at all. So basically IWOOT took my £90 payment and strung me along for 18 days. I have finally been offered a refund with 3-5 working days, conveniently on the Easter Holiday Weekend, buying them even more time. I am appalled by the Customer Service I received, after being treated like garbage for 18 days they did not even have the courtesy to apologise. Which would of meant alot. I will be warning ALL Friends and Family to avoid IWOOT like the plague, it is unbelievable that they are still allowed to Trade on the Internet.

I have not received any response on here nor any further communication from IWOOT, however I have finally been issued a refund. Thank you for your support and making my complaint accessible to a wider audience as hopefully it will save another person going through the same ordeal as I have.
