Complaint about Xercise4Less
I cancelled my gym membership a couple of months ago as i couldnt go and started to receive letters from harlands claiming I needed to pay a £25 admin fee. I phoned harlands who said I needed to sort it out with the gym directly and that the admin fee would stay the same with only every month's missed payment added on. A week later I received another letter claiming they had not heard from me and I needed to pay £65. I tried to sort it out with the gym and phoned them continuously for 5 weeks but they kept on telling me their manager was in a meeting and they would get back to me ASAP. I phoned harlands again to sort it out as the gym staff were useless but they said that could not. When I went to the gym the guy told me he could not sort it out and it was harlands job to sort it. I was given a membership number that I phoned ( after receiving another letter asking for £146) and they said I would need to pay £90 and they would buy it back from the debt collectors- even though the remaining amount to be paid on the membership was £42.
