Selling vehicles not satisfactory or fit for purpose

Complaint about Vehicle Trading Group

Purchased a vehicle in October 2015. Was told explicitly one owner from new, full service history genuine 50,000 miles. Vehicle begins to go badly wrong 5 months later. After several complaints matter referred to Ombudsman. Ombudsman cannot uphold complaint despite evidence car was unsatisfactory. £4,000 repairs spent, every conceivable part fitted new. Transpires vehicle has had 5 previous owners, no service history. It is a diesel car and has definitely been filled with petrol at some point. Furthermore car has been clocked. My firm has obtained evidence vehicle was serviced in Wales in 2012 at 62,500 miles. We believe vehicle had done in excess of 150,000 when sold to me. Absolute disgrace!
