Complaint about EHIC Direct

I have been charged 34.50 to renew my EHIC card for my family. This payment came out of my bank account and I have recieved my cards. However there has been an additional amount of money taken out of my account. Since looking into this, I am not even sure whether I should of paid the initial amount in the first place. When I have tried to contact them direct, the website keeps advising me that they do not recognise my details and won't let me go any further. I then tried ton contact them by telephone. I was put on hold for 10 minutes, only to get a message at the end that the office was closed.
