Complaint about Wren Kitchens

Wren have not made any contact regarding the issue of the flaking finish on the grey high gloss anthracite kitchen, they have acknowledged the initial complaint but have made no effort to rectify the situation. Terrible customer service continues. See complaint below... "We have recently bought a high-gloss anthracite kitchen from Wren which was installed just before Christmas. I am appalled by the quality of the product. The paint finish is flaking off at an alarming rate under normal usage. It flakes even when the frontals are wiped down with a soft cloth, no cleaning products have been used when wiping down and the surfaces have not suffered any impacts. Wren initially asked me to supply photographs and dimensions of the affected doors but have now stated the following "After further consideration into your photos and the defects that you has endured with your frontals, unfortunately Wren will not be able to replace these under our warranty as our guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear as stated in our terms and conditions. If you are wishing to have these frontals replaced then they would need to be purchased I'm afraid and with this mind I have raised a quote for you for these doors for the total sum of..." Fair wear and tear does not constitute paint flaking when wiping down the doors, especially within weeks. The warrant states if the product "is used properly for their intended purpose, you should enjoy many years of use from your purchase". I have serious doubts about the durability of the materials used and extremely concerned about the overall quality of the doors. After paying £8,000.00 this should not be occurring after less than two months. The product quality and subsequent 'customer service' received from Wren has been diabolical. "
