Complaint about Pull & Bear

On 8 May 2017 at approximately 2.47 pm, I was visiting the Pull and Bear shop located in the Dubai mall in Dubai. I picked out a pair of shorts which were advertised at AED89.However,when I took the shorts to the till to pay for them I was advised by the person at the till that I had to pay AED95 and that the advertised price was wrong as it differed with the price in the system. I informed the lady at the till(Christelle-Assistant Manager)that legally she had to sell the shorts to me at the price advertised notwithstanding the price in the system. She refused to do so and promptly ripped off the label and threw it in a nearby dustbin! I asked to speak to the Manager(Mr.Tony)who also refused to honour the advertised price mentioning to me that in training he had learnt that where there was a mistake in the pricing it need not be honoured. I repeated to him what I had told the assistant manager (hat he was legally bound to sell the item to me at the advertised price) and that I was not responsible for any mistake made by the shop. He refused and I left the shop advising him that I would lodge a complaint against this unethical business practice.
