Complaint about EHIC Direct

As I have been unable to contact EHIC Direct by phone or email because they sent their reply from a noreply email address and their phone number on application form is no longer valid, I would be very grateful if you would forward this letter to EHIC Direct /Smith and Lawson. What happened with EHIC Direct/Smith and Lawson is in the letter. I did not pay for EHIC service thankfully but they have my details because they were able to email the partially completed form to ask me to complete application and pay. I am very unhappy about this. The company seem to be avoiding contact with me. Dear EHIC owners, I have provided personal details and those of my husband to your organisation EHIC Direct to apply for a EHIC card. I am hereby categorically informing EHIC Direct that I do not want to enter into a contract with the organisation. Also, I do not give EHIC Direct permission to use my information or my husband's information for any purpose. Nor do I give my permission for EHIC Direct to share this information with any other parties/organisations. Donna Mc Dowell For those reading this complaint/review who have similarly been misled, I have contacted The Information Commissioners Office who advised me to write the above letter to let the company know that I do not want my details passed to anyone else and also the police at Action Fraud who deal with Fraud and Cyber Crime. (If details are shared you are vulnerable to fraud/crime.) They advised me to register with Noddle where I can check my credit file and CIFAS who prevent ID fraud being carried out.

I have sent this request in writing via 'A Spokeman Said' facility and obviously you have read it because you have replied. Why do I need to call?

Dear Customer, We had asked you to call one of our customer services agents so that we may able to find your application on our system. When writing on a spokesman said it is a public forum and we do not recommend you posting your personal information online. Calls to our customer services team are charged at a local rate and will also be free from your mobile mins. The number is 0303 031 4779.
