Complaint about DPD

I won something on E bay a month ago ,it was sent through DPD and it's not turned up . The seller told me that he received the items back on weds saying DPD tried delivering it 3 times and left 3 calling cards at my address , this is not true , WE HAD NO CALLING CARDS LEFT AT ALL !!!! I checked with all my neighbours and no one had been contacted , but not sure if that's Dpd's policy . I don't know why there wereno cards left ( couldn't be bothered probably ) and doubt whether they tried 3 times !!!! . For the £8-50 I was charged by the seller this is a Rip off !!, it would have been cheaper and better to send it by Royal Mail UK confirmed service which is under half the cost of DPD and would have definitely arrived . If I could rate DPD its a big fat zero !!! Rubbish , do not use these , totally unreliable , what's going on ??

Hi Amy , unfortunately the seller on E bay has not given me the details of the parcel number as he wont respond to my messages now . Can it be traced by my name and delivery address ? Regards David .
