Complaint about Holiday Discount Centre
We have seen 3 holidays on this companies site which we have attempted to book. To cut a long story short, our attempt today more or less repeats the first two attempts ... Our son and his girlfriend are students with a limited budget and wanted a holiday in the Hotel Soreda, Malta. This was advertised this morning for £359 and I asked for it to be held whilst we contacted our son. Phoned back this afternoon, yes, it was still available, gave all the details, added extra baggage and transfers and gave bank account details for a £250 deposit, with remainder to be paid tomorrow. Phoned my son to tell him he was sorted! Ten minutes later the phone rings and I'm told the holiday is no longer available. Funnily enough, they have the same cheaper hotel they have tried to fob us off with already, but it will costs more!! Why aren't these offers updated regularly and why are bank details taken before the holiday is confirmed?
