12 months ago we booked 2 adults and 1 child in a double swim up (max capacity 3) and 2 adults in a sea view over the phone with the local store. On picking up the paperwork we realised our daughter had been placed in my parents sea view room in error. We raised this and were advised not a problem they could change . We received two amendments, both incorrect and have for months been trying to get Thomsons to rectify this. The store assured us on our numerous visits that all would be ok for our daughter to be in our room and I asked for this to be confirmed in writing. Today, months later and less than 8 weeks before we travel, we have been advised that she cannot be in our room as they have allocated a double swim up maximum of 2 people. My parents are pensioners nearing their 70's and it would be unfair for our child to be in their room. We paid an extra £720 for a swim up room specifically on the basis we'd have more flexibility with our daughter. We have not got what we asked for and paid over £10k for!
