Complaint about Credit Portal
I signed up to Credit Portal over a year ago as part of a payday loan application. For the first few months the regular £19.95 monthly fee was going out of my account without problem, however around 3 months later I started to notice that payments were being taken whenever they liked, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day - effectively stealing as much as £80 from me without authorisation. I contacted Credit Portal who assured me that no more payments would be taken however nothing changed. Having reached out to my bank who also did not resolve the problem, I filed an official complaint with the FCC. This was enough to keep Credit Portal away from me for a while, however now they are back and taking more unauthorised payments than ever before. I want to see these con artists to return my money and be put away for good.
