Poor customer service

Complaint about Oldrids & Downtown

I recently visited your oldrids and downtown store in Scunthorpe and unfortunately was very disappointed with the poor customer service I received. My sister wanted a dress for a relatives wedding so walking through past the different departments we were very shocked to not be welcomed or offered help by one member of staff. What we did witness were young girls and women stood around laughing and chatting about their weekends antics. After browsing for at least 45 minutes I went over to a lady from the Quiz department to ask for some help in which her reply was 'what do you want?' And laughed. I explained what we were looking for and she didn't seem very helpful nor interested to say the least. We managed to find a dress after half an hour of trying on and went to purchase what we had decided on. There was no one on the till when we got there so asked the lady mentioned above where we we're supposed to pay in which she replied 'over under the big sign' which made me feel very angry as it was where I had gone previously but there wasn't anyone there. I explained this to her and she just sighed and walked over to the till. I am extremely disappointed with the shopping trip we experienced here and unfortunately will not be returning any time soon

Hi Jenifer, Rob Allen (Store Manager) at our Scunthorpe Store has stated "I am sorry to hear you have had a bad shopping experience at Oldrids Scunthorpe and I would like to investigate further with the individuals concerned.
