Complaint about EHIC Direct

I was not aware that this was not an official site. When I wanted to cancel I was made aware that after application I would not be able to cancel . I expected as with other transactions I would have a 14 day cooling of period and be able to claim my money back but appears to be no facility on their website to do this.

Dear Jacqueline Pappin, Thank you for your message. The Ehic Direct website does state that it is not the official service to apply for EHIC cards. If you would like to cancel your application, please feel free to contact our customer services team on 0303 0314 779, please press Option 2 then Option 0 Monday - Friday 10am-5pm to resolve this issue. Thank you for your response and have been informed that I will get refund . I am happy with resolution of my complaint
