I have a complaint to make regarding the customer service and delivery of the sofa I ordered from the SCS store in Slough. March 18th, I ordered a LIGHT GREY Nikki 3x3 sofa from the store. It is clearly marked light grey on my receipt and I was told delivery would be within 9 weeks. Unfortunately it took longer than that and I did not receive any information from the store although I called them twice, I was told up to a 4 week delay was reasonable, which I understood. On 9th June I received a call from the store that the sofa's would be delivered on Saturday 27th ( which takes it up to exactly the 4 weeks it would have been delayed ) I was told to make the remaining payment by 14th June. Unfortunately I completely forgot to make the payment and neither did the store call me and cancelled my delivery. On Friday 11th June I was told the sofas would not be delivered on the agreed date, I made the payment straight away and it was agreed the sofas would be delivered today ( Saturday 21st June ). I has asked for a 12-5pm delivery as I would be at work in the morning. Lucky my mum was at home because they came to deliver the sofas around 9:30am, which would've been very inconvenient. The most important thing is that the sofas they have delivered are the WRONG COLOUR, they are BLACK when I ordered light grey. As I had already arranged to have my old sofas picked up this morning to make space for the new ones I had no option but to keep them. The driver has noted on the paperwork that they are the wrong colour. I called the Slough store and spoke to the manager Andrew and I have to say he was very abrupt and not once did he apologise for the inconvenience. He actually say to me 'ITS NOT LIKE I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO SIT ON'. I find that incredibly rude and not very customer service friendly. He even checked his records and agreed that the wrong colour was ordered but did not apologise for it. I asked him what he could do for me and he said either get a refund and the inconvenience I suffered doesn't really come into it or order a new sofa and have to wait a further 9 weeks or more. Now I have 3 parties coming up and these sofas do not go with my decoration at all but I will have to put up with this as I will have nothing to sit on. I asked the store manager what he could do for me as I think this is unacceptable as he said if I order a new sofa he will take the delivery charge off. He informed me that I paid for a Saturday delivery which is NOT TRUE as I am a shift worker so any week day would have suitable. I hope you can appreciate that this is not the level of service I should be expecting from their store and I am deeply disappointed. Please let me know what you can do for me as I require some assistance urgently. Also the sofa I originally selected is now priced at £800 cheaper and I have twice called the store and they are not getting back to me.
