Complaint about STL Heating & Energy
The issue is they clearly do not have the national coverage they claim to have. Throughout the process, we haven't had anything other than poor service. The salesman: Courtesy, listened and ticked all the boxes and paid for every single extra he spoke about and committed on the day- BIG MISTAKE! Installation: Was cancelled on the day, due to staff issues. 2 days later, we had a gas engineer install the boiler and whilst he did an AMAZING job and was wonderful, there was no electrician and the thermostat couldn't be fitted. 3 days running, I was told someone would come and nobody did! On the fourth day after getting through to one of the Directors, someone managed to attend and fit the thermostat so I was paying for a boiler to heat everything without any temperature settings or regulation. After 7 working days out of my office and allocated as annual leave (to which they only attended on 3 out of the 7 days), we thought we had everything sorted - but obviously not! The thermostat is clearly faulty and has a mind of its own, it switches itself on and off, won't turn on or temp adjusts when needed etc. I have have been chasing them 9 months to sort the issue and to make matters worse the electrician hasn't connected the earth cables back to the gas box! The Customer Support has meant to have sent someone on two occasions to which nobody has shown and I've lost two further days from work. For the additional few hundred, you pay with BritishGas- don't use STLHeating!
