Complaint about DPD

I despatched a parcel yesterday to a site that we are working on. The fitters needed the item before 12, so this is the service I booked and paid extra for, so that they could leave for their next contract. By 11.30 we had still not received an email with a delivery slot as stated on your website. i contacted the livehelp, as their is no telephone number. They were no help at all, they confirmed it was on express before 12, they could not track it any further than myself, they could not contact the depots or drivers to chase, no help whatsoever. Just kept apologising. 12noon came, no parcel and no resolution. I searched for a contact number and found 0121 27505000. I spoke to your representative at 12:10, who advised that she would in fact call the depot and call me back. I called again at 1:20, to be told that the phones haven't stopped, the parcel is in Coventry as the driver didn't get there until 9pm. The parcel will be delivered Monday. If that was acceptable I would have booked for a Monday delivery, and I would not have booked and paid for next day express pre 12. Absolutely no joy, no interest in my complaint. If I had been told the truth at 11:30, that is two hours that two guys would not be sat waiting. I have had to pull the guys away, so now they will need to return to site to fit the item, from Banbury to Whitchurch some 150 miles!!!! What a let down. Worse still, I have to call back to get a refund - it is not automatic!!!!!!!!!!
