Mixed up meter reading and over charge

Complaint about Scottish Power

I ve been with scottish power for over 20 month on a fix rate monthly contract. After 18 month my account went from a 900£ in credit to over 6k in debit. After Finding out the meter reading was mixed (that took over 3 months) they send another bill ov 3400£. And also speaking to them they don t have any recorded meter reading sent during the contract with them and plus they don t have the opening meter reading so how they can define that the bill is over 3 k knowing that the first attempted bill was over 6 k?!
