Complaint about Royal Mail

I posted by 1st class stamp on the 15/07/17 a birthday card containing money to my daughter in my local villiage postbox expecting it to arrive approx by 19/07/17 ( allowing for weekend) We are now 25/7 and she has still not recieved it ?? I have double checked the address etc, It's a very delicate situation as we are only recently back in touch and she is now querying as to if I remembered ! , Obviously as I sent the card using a regular stamp I have no proof of posting and am desperate to prove to her that I didn't forget and also to trace where the card and money have ended up , Please any help would be appreciated
