Calling card left but no parcel

Complaint about Yodel

Returned home to find a "Sorry i missed you" card from Yodel saying that my parcel has been left in a safe place as instructed by the sender, Searched all round my house but no parcel found. I tried using the number on the card to track my delivery but all it says is " Parcel can't be found" Also tried live chat service but got no help from them either. Yodel website states that if the driver leaves a green calling card then he should also leave a mobile phone number so as to contact the driver if any problems, Yes green card but no contact number for driver. The senders delivery policy is that if no one home then they should attempt to deliver at least 3 more times or leave with a neighbour, All my neighbours were in all day yesterday but driver never tried to deliver to any of them. Yodel parcel delivery is a joke and this is not an isolated case as a quick Google search will tell you. I am at a loss as to why anyone would use such a poorly rated company to deliver their goods. Annoyed and angry
