Complaint about DPD

A phone was out for delivery on sunday 30th july. I received no text giving me a time slot. I stayed in all day, to considerable personal inconvenience. I called DPD and they said my driver Tom was "using a handheld" so would be late, but would call me with an ETA. He never called me. At 23.00 on the tracking website it came up with the message; "Sorry, your parcel could not be delivered, as your DPD driver could not find your address/gain access" timed at 13.30 which was before I had even called DPD. I do not have my phone, which I need urgently, I have wasted a day (including missing seeing some relatives I rarely see), and have not been told what is going on.
