Still no caller display after 28 days of technical assistance

Complaint about BT

Following a lightning strike back on the 22nd of June, we lost our landline. This was restored swiftly but our caller display service did not return. We flagged up the issue and we were first told that "it was a NATIONAL FAULT and BT were on it". We were then contacted by a technician who has apparently been working on it ever since. As well as SMS saying " hello, it's BT here" in a sexy mechanical voice, telling me that my caller display is now working (It is not), the technician who sounds as though he is ringing from Asia, rings at least once a day a day every day, including sundays and asks whether it is working. My answer is NO. I say, "what happens next". He says, "you will get a call back". No other communication occurs. Unbelievable!
