Stolen Wedding Dress

Complaint against myHermes

I run a wedding dress cleaning service from home using couriers to deliver and return dresses to customers. I used myhermes for a whole until one dress got stolen. I received an email from myhermes saying the packaging had been found empty in their depo and they would destroy it. I know I packaged the dress in tissue paper in a large box Sellotaped down then wrapped in bubble wrap and wrapping paper so how could the dress have mysteriously disappeared? I have contacted my hermes over 15 times on the phone, sent numerous emails even managed to contact a manager who promised they would pay for the dress so after sending the original receipt and waiting for it to be verified by the shop I finally received an email saying they would only repay the postage cost. Now after more emails, webchats and phone calls they are refusing to pay or even talk to me.

Hermes have also lost my wedding dress, and although they have been in contact with me, they have not answered by concerns regarding how they investigate this type of issue. I would like to know whether they address these issues with their drivers, as if they don't, presumably these people could basically help themselves to anything! Also, I paid for 'signed-for' service, and they tell me the parcel was delivered but that they did not manage to obtain a signature. Infuriating! Have they replied?
