[LAPSED] Lost birthday card

Complaint against Royal Mail

My daughter is at uni in Norwich and turned 21 earlier this week. The family live in Hexham Northumberland. We will not see her for a couple of weeks to celebrate but wanted to send her a lovely professionally hand made birthday card to open on her big day. I sent it first class. It has not arrived and it is now 4 days since her birthday. Very upset and angry. Trusted Royal Mail to do the job it's supposed to do.
