Complaint against UK Mail
I complained yesterday regarding the non-delivery of the parcel above. I I received a text from you indicating a delivery would be made between 11.21 to 12.21. I made special efforts to be at home for that time. I received a further text indicating the driver had one more delivery and I was next, timed 11.29. The parcel failed to arrive. Your website stated that delivery had been attempted at 11.29 at the same time as the text. I complained to O2 who contacted you, and someone called Jackie spoke to the driver who told her he had rung the doorbell but nobody answered. Plausible, but we don't have a doorbell knocker or anything like, in other words he lied. I was in the garden with my dogs who would have given ample warning of any delivery. The delivery was promised before 430. Today the delivery arrived before the text time given and delivery driver refused to wait. You appear to think that my complaints have been responded to by the delivery being made and your complaints email refuses to accept the consignment number. This is not good enough. I want the complaint escalated and a meaningful response.
