Complaint against DPD

I am expecting my order from a company since Friday, the 27th of April. the time slot I have been given was not convenient so I have changed it to Saturday, the 28th. they updated me and told me I will get my item delivered on Saturday. this never happened. when called them I was told there were not enough drivers to get my parcel delivered and it will be delivered on Sunday. as you can guess this never happened. on Monday, seeing that there is no update, I have made a complaint. They got back to me and told me my item will be delivered today, given me the explanation that they do not deliver on weekends to pick up shops. Then why advertise such services on your site??? today is Monday, still getting the status that my parcel is being held in the depot. I feel like they are lying to me, not sure why the parcel have not been sent out for delivery today... Anyway I decided to pop in to the depot this evening and find my parcel. After I have it will try to claim back my petrol money and time as the local depot is 1 hour away from me! nice customer service, we need to get used to this I guess as this is what we usually get from a large company. If I would have a choice, I would not use them ever again and would advise everyone to avoid them as they seem to be lying to us so why we should trust them with our valuables and time? Such a shame that we forgot how to do our job right once we have enough money coming in.
