Complaint against DPD
Waited in all morning for urgent delivery slot. Received an email telling me that I had requested a change of delivery date to tomorrow so package was not coming. This was a lie. I made no such request. Phoned to complain. Was told that even though my package had arrived at the depot hours before the van was due to leave there was not time to load it. The ‘you changed the date’ email seems to be a standard ‘blame the customer whenever we mess up’ excuse. Now have to stay in all morning tomorrow waiting to receive a delivery slot message......or will they lie again and say I changed the date again? Inefficiency is bad enough but dishonesty is inexcusable.
