Complaint against DPD

Was meant to be delivered April 26th no show rang them Friday they had damaged the box in transit. So requested it to be delivered Saturday in my local Halfords store. Didn't then up spoke to the Saturday to ask what the updates we're they said they couldn't help me as it's been locked up for the weekend and expect delivery on April 30th. Still nothing received a email today May 1st saying It would be delivered today but still no updates so rang them yet again only to be told now they have lost my parcel bare in mind this item is a tv stand so not exactly a small item to loose. So they have opened up a investigation and this could take upto 7 working days I am not happy at all I stated over 6 times that if all the parts we're there and it was not really badly damaged I would have the item no problem and would sign to say I was happy with this as I had paid for the item so it should be my choice. I am disgusted in the way they have and still are treating this. If they had sent it out to myself on the Thursday then they wouldn't of lost it. I have no idea where to go from here now as I got rid of my tv stand so my tv is now on my floor I am not very happy at all.
