DPD
Ordered a product from hot point/whirlpool and was told it was a next day delivery, product didn't come, called hot point, was told DPD did not put on delivery van,would get next day, asked for it to be left in a safe place and told that would be fine. DPD came next day but did not leave, put a card through the door with incorrect tracking number. Tried calling hot point and could not get through and not been able to over last 5 days but card said delivery would be made next day. Called them to let them know incorrect number and told my delivery would be timeslotted, this is now Friday, after a promise from hot point of delivery Wednesday. Waited in all day, called again, told van broken down, but was back on road and product would definately be delivered that evening. Product had not arrived by 7.30, called again and told was upgraded to a Saturday free of charge, driver ran out of safe driving hours. No delivery Saturday and called again to be told Aberdeen depot did not deliver to my area Saturday or Sunday and now would be a Monday am delivery. Was in Aberdeen on Sunday and called portlethen depot to ask if I could pick it up as very close by to where I was. Was then told parcel already loaded and he could not upset the drivers routine by moving it (obviously upsetting customers doesn't matter). Called again today Monday, and now told delivery this afternoon!!!! forever hopeful! This product of course has been paid for so no one at whirlpool/DPD care one iota!! Worst service I have ever had and cannot believe they are still in business.
