Complaint against DPD

This company has to be the worst delivery company that I have ever known what is wrong with the delivery drivers do they go about in their vans blindfolded it would appear so to me. Twice I have ordered a mobile phone by two separate mobile companies the first one a couple of months back and as usual practice promised delivery the next working day so as I am at home each day that would not be a problem for me to accept delivery. Received the usual text message to be delivered between such a time great or so I thought the delivery time came and went no show, so at that time was not too concerned thought oh well tomorrow, I then received a text to say no one in ????? excuse me your driver never showed up. Even if I had been in another part of the house and failed to hear the delivery driver I have two dogs and they hear immediately if anyone even approaches my drive and bark let alone knock on the door so DPD don't give me that old chestnut no one at home. This debacle went on for days same old story no one home and like someone else who mentioned they actually saw the delivery driver so I did once approach my front gates and for some unknown reason only to himself reversed and drove off what was that all about? Eventually I told the mobile phone company to keep their phone so annoyed was I and my stress levels had hit the ceiling. However last week I decided to give another mobile company ago and same thing has happened again and this time when i ordered I told the phone company to tell the driver to come through a large set of iron gates which I have in front of my drive so there would be no mistake it is not like I live in outer Mongolia every other company seems to find my property and deliver goods but yet again no one home so we could not deliver blatant blatant lies all of it. How this company stays in business I will never know they do not care about service and why businesses continue to use them to deliver their goods is also another mystery to me because at the end of the day the companies that are selling their goods are losing out when items especially like mobile phones are not delivered and then the customer turns round and says like I did keep your phone. Disgusted.
