[LAPSED] DPD driver lied for 2 consecutive days

Complaint against DPD

Hi, This is the 4th time I am having this terrible experience with DPD drivers. They were supposed to deliver a parcel to me yesterday, but they never arrived; and I got a message that the a) the driver attempted a delivery and b) left a card. Both of the statements are pure lies. The driver never turned up at the address. I then requested a re-delivery, supposed to be delivered today. This time I was standing and watching from the window during that designated hour. DPD driver came and parked on the road, sit in the van for a while and took a picture of my driveway from his van; then came out with a card in his hand (already w/o getting to door first). When I saw him I came out and open the door, but the moment he saw me, he turned around from the road and went back to his van and drove off. A moment later I got a message that the driver attempted a delivery but no one was there, and has left a card. Again, lie on top of another lie. I don't understand his motivation for doing that. If you've driven to the property why would you just turn back and drove off without delivering. This is not the first time DPD drivers have lied about attempted delivery but they never came to the property; but this time it was very strange, having been to a property and not delivering a parcel. I am writing in hope, that someone in the DPD group, higher up, who care about their business, would take a notice of such DPD drivers behaviour. This HABIT of your drivers need to be changed. You may think you are big enough to fail...but time will tell.
