[RESPONDED] DPD MAYBE NEXT DAY SERVICE

Complaint against DPD

PAID FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY SERVICE FOR A CONSIGNMENT OF 2 PARCELS TO THE SAME ADDRESS. ONE GETS DELIVERED NEXT DAY (FRIDAY) THE OTHER ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. I GET TOLD WHEN I COMPLAIN THAT THE SERVICE IS NOT GUARANTEED. IF THAT IS THE CASE WHY CALL IT NEXT DAY SERVICE AS THIS IS MISLEADING. SECONDLY WHY WERE TWO PARCELS TO THE SAME ADDRESS SPLIT WHEN THEY WERE PICKED UP TOGETHER. COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE IS ALL ONLINE VIA LIVE CHAT AND IS USELESS AND THE LET'S MAKE IT RIGHT YOU GET REFERRED TO YOUR LOCAL DPD AS THEY CAN'T HELP.THE COMPLAINTS PHONE NUMBER YOU GET ALSO REFERS YOU TO YOUR LOCAL DPD. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THIS IS DONE TO OBSTRUCT ANY COMPLAINTS FOR CUSTOMERS. I GOT OFFERED A COUPON FOR £10. WHY WOULD I USE THE SERVICE AGAIN? UTTERLY APPALLING ON ALL COUNTS.

AS PER THEIR "MAKE IT RIGHT" SERVICE THEY ARE MISSING THE POINT. I PAID FOR A NEXT DAY SERVICE AND DIDN'T GET IT. THEY DON'T GUARANTEE THEIR SERVICE SO SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE IT AS NEXT DAY BUT "MAYBE NEXT DAY SERVICE" THE COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE IS DESIGNED TO BE OBSTRUCTIVE AND NOT ADDRESS THE ISSUE. WOW YOU CAN CONTACT THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT. VERY POOR AND I'D NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
