Why create a 'useful' application to manage your delivery options when you don't actually deliver to what is requested? 1st attempt my delivery was not left in a safe place as requested on the application (If the parcel was not able to be left in a safe place, why give me the option in the application in the first place and not advise)? 2nd attempt; to deliver next day to a pickup point as I thought that may be a safer option given I was leaving the country on the Monday. Well it was not delivered on the Saturday after heading to the store, nor the Sunday when I checked. Of course, being the weekend, trying to get any service to contact and resolve was impossible. (Again, why bother giving me the option for Saturday and Sunday delivery when apparently you don't deliver weekends and didn't indicate or advise of this) To rectify their error I spent time calling and on a lengthy hold while at the airport Monday morning to request that they hold the parcel until my return in 13 days when I can collect in person (as this seems to be a safer option than getting them to deliver) Customer service told me I will need to rearrange delivery with the supplier. Why should I carry the cost for redelivery and international calls when it is DPD's fault and should rectify. Especially when it can be easily remedied by holding it for 13 days? It seems we pay for a delivery service that doesn't deliver?

Amy, your team just gave me the same answer, its my responsibility to rearrange delivery with the supplier as you will not hold. I will email you but please don't give me the same answer and pretend you want to resolve it
