Complaint against DPD

Received an email telling me my item would be delivered between 12:47-13:47 on23/08/17, as I knew no-one would be home I requested the item be left in a safe place and received confirmation of this. I received a further text message stating my driver had been delayed and will attempt to deliver my item by 18:00 hours that day. I checked the tracking site throughout the day to see if the item had been delivered, this was not updated until approximately 10pm the same day to say the parcel had been delivered and signed at 13:17hrs, impossible unless my dog signed for it. Complaint made to both the seller and DPD but batted between the two with no result. Emailed DPD a number of times only to be contacted back and told to contact the seller. The seller stated they would get me a copy of the signature nearly a month ago but not heard anything since. Am disgusted with this service and had to re-order the item at my own expense as the seller refused to replace it until a investigation was completed
