Complaint against DPD

I sent a diamond bracelet to Denmark for a customer of mine which DPD lost at the international hub! The value is £1825 so it is not a cheap item! After raising searches and constantly having to pester dpd customer services they still didnt find the parcel anywhere at all! They have such advanced systems for each parcel yet mine cant be located? Now its come to a claim and they are saying they only cover £100+shipping and that all? What kind of joke is this, My businesses across the UK send over 700 parcels a week with DPD and they dont cover for my bracelet?! Absolutly shocked with there level of service

Hello Amir, I'm extremely sorry that the parcel could not be located. The claim amount would depend on if you arranged for additional cover and due to the high value for this it would be recommended. With no additional cover arranged the claims team would only be able to offer a limited amount of compensation. Kind regards. [Simon]
