[RESPONDED] Lost parcel, lost refund, lies, insults

Complaint against DPD

I arranged for DPD to deliver a parcel to America, it was returned as it includes a battery, it was resent without the battery. Passed customs, passed x-ray, landed in America where it got lost for 3 weeks. When they found it, it was again returned but this time for no reason. A refund was offered and to date has still not arrived. In fact it was accidentally put into a prepaid balance on my account with DPD which cannot be withdrawn and only used if I wanted to use them again which will never happen. Each time, almost daily the chat operators lied and told me it was progressing and it would definitely be in my account the next day. This went on for 3 weeks. The only apology that has been offered is a 20 pound credit to use with their services which is more a slap in the face than an apology.

I'm guessing they won't as the email address you gave doesn't exist A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:   [email protected]     550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.

Hi James, thanks for the reply. I am extremely confused as to why you are having problems getting in touch with the email addresses provided as I have checked and they all seem to be valid.
