[LAPSED] Nightmare with deliveries

Complaint against DPD

I can't bear to go into all the details of the whens and wherefores because my blood pressure will rise , suffice to say that I expected 2 parcels this week and it has a been a nightmare. (Waiting in especially and then receiving emails saying "sorry we missed you" etc.) The worst of it is trying to get hold of anyone on the phone. I must have spent at least 4 hours this week dealing with them and I'm still waiting for a parcel that should have arrived 2 days ago. I got another email saying "sorry we missed you" today which is nonsense. God knows where my parcel is. I don't even get the option of hanging on the phone today waiting for someone to pick up. It tells me to put the tracking number in and then gives me some automated spiel that doesn't make sense. Agh! Reminds me of the 1970s. Thought things had moved on...
