[LAPSED] No serious attempt at delivery

Complaint against DPD

Delivery today was paid for before 1.pm Rather obvious I would be in ( because I had pad for that service!) As the house is large, have a double bell ( with sign saying please use both!) plus a loud door knocker. Note found pushed through the door, but neither of us in heard any attempt. I have had at least one problem with DPD deliveries before, it seems they give up as quickly as possible. It is also impossible to complain to them as there is no ' human' contact system - doesn't this suggest that they are afraid that they will get too many complaints? Also they have no real penalties to stop this appalling lack of consumer concern.
