[LAPSED] Nothing but delay after delay

Complaint against DPD

I'm going to continue to post 1 star reviews every time this happens now. Every parcel I've had from DPD in the last 6+ months has been delayed and the tracking information is completely unhelpful. 27th it told me my parcel would be ready for collection from midday. Then it updated to tell me my parcel would be ready for collection from midday, 28th. 28th I'm notified my delivery won't be until 29th. 29th (today) what a surprise, delayed AGAIN. Now quoting delivery (30th) tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath. Joke of a service. This is the same merry-go-round procedure every time for parcels that go via their Hinckley hub. There is absolutely no point, in providing tracking information when it's as unhelpful as that. It's even at odds with itself. One line it says: "Your parcel is at our Hinckley depot ready for delivery" Below it says: "Your parcel will be ready for collection: Thursday 28 November After: 12:00" Well which is it!? It's either at the depot or out for delivery. I have no idea why retailers still choose to use them. I used to rate DPD highly. I don't anymore.
