[LAPSED] Parcel not recieved

Complaint against DPD

I made an order on Thursday paying for next day delivery expecting it to arrive on Friday, however it stated that may parcel would not be arriving until Saturday. This is not a problem given the time of year, however, on the Saturday whilst I was home all day, nothing arrived. I checked the status of my parcel using their website and it said that my parcel has been "refused". This does not make any sense considering there was no attempt to deliver said parcel in the first place. In addition, it stated that there should be a card left and yet there was nothing, leading me to believe that no attempt had been made to deliver my parcel. In light of this, I rescheduled my delivery for Sunday with the instructions of leaving my item in my designated safe place, given the incompetence, and yet again I am left with nothing having been delivered. I am more than dissatisfied with this courier and the way they go about making deliveries as now my Christmas gift have not arrived and I paid a considerable price for next day delivery on the items.
