Complaint against DPD

I am a resident of India (Mumbai) had send a parcel containing food items weighing 23 kgs from Mumbai (India) to Luxembourg to my sister residing at Postcode- 1241. on 27th November 2018 (AWB No. A00738872). On tracking the parcel on 4th December 2018 on the DPD website it was showing that the parcel was in Luxembourg and was out for delivery, so we thought that it will delivered shortly. However after waiting for 2 days it was still not received by my sister at Luxembourg. On the website it was shown that the parcel is still in transit. My sister enquired at the call center of DPD to which they replied that they have send the courier by mistake to Lyon (France). Actually in Lyon (France) there is also a similar place. They assured my sister that they will send the parcel from France to Luxembourg in 2 days. However the parcel was still not received by her in the next 4-5 days. She was in constant touch with DPD call center. On 12th of December they told my sister that the sender should call for filing a complaint for the same. I called from Mumbai to UK DPD to enquire about the parcel. I narrated them the whole story regarding the similar address in Luxembourg and france and that the parcel has still not reached Luxembourg. After having conversation with call center I came to know that the parcel have travelled from Mumbai to United Kingdom where it was handled by a company called “Easy Logistics” after they which they handled the parcel to DPD. So the main crux of the problem was while the parcel was handed over from Easy Logistics to DPD as the address given from Easy Logistics to DPD was Rue Pierre Blanc Lyon, Luxembourg-1241. However I told the DPD guys that they were also equally responsible in this as how come the address pin points to two countries and they should have cross check the address again with Easy Logistics.The DPD guy admitted the mistake and told me to give them 24 hours to give a complete resolution to the problem. I also told him to file a complaint regarding the mental stress caused to us for the whole incident and also urge for compensation as the items after will be of no use to her as it has been more than 2 weeks. The case reference number allotted to me was 31873125. However now it has been more than 24 hours but still the parcel has not reached her. I was surprised by the follow up of DPD and its associates.
