[RESPONDED] Shocking delivery company and don't deserve even one star

Complaint against DPD

This not the 1st time as I would give them benefit of doubt but other than UPS this seems to be the only company to get it wrong consistently. 1st delivery this month took 8 days. Granted there was snow and I gave a extra couple of days for delivery. I then get a txt with a photo that was no where near my property showing wet tarmac tacks through the snow stating severe weather can't deliver. We managed to drive 40 mile every day in a 1.2 fiesta and my neighbor got to his work in his transit van every day. I received my nornal post, a parcel force delivery and also a myhermes delivery. They managed, so why couldn't D***y at DPD?!? I left a complaint with the sender and then I get prompt delivery strange that. Latest awaiting delivery, a part for my car as its broken down and on a 24hr delivery has sat longer in the local depot! So from supplier to Aberdeen, extremely quick about 18hrs, and at the time of writing this, the parcel has sat in the local depot 55hrs. I can't speak to anyone as everything is put in place to make it cost you a fortune waiting on a phone or you can pick the item up at your depot, my car is broken and they are some 25mls away. As well as the recorded message stating that they are delivering all weekend. I have paid for door to door and should not be given the option to collect unless I have missed the delivery or if I choose too collect. Check the tracking 5197206277. I'm going to be told its cause its the time of year, well as a delivery company you should be geared for it like most other companies. There should be a timer on your tracker as we are left wondering when stating how long the parcel will be before delivery. Just not impressed at all!!
