[RESPONDED] Totally incompetent

Complaint against DPD

Another zero stars. Totally incompetent. Day 1. Driver didn't even bother getting out of the vehicle even though I was in and they said that the driver left a card. No delivery, no card. Day 2. They put the parcel in the wrong van, with a driver doing a different route, so nowhere near. Day 3. Told by the "make it right" (never has there been a less apt name for a dept) that it would be put on a van that day and I would receive an e mail with estimated delivery time. No e mail came and so I looked online to see that someone (not me or the vendor) had requested that the package "return to consigner" Promptly got back in touch with the "make it right" team who told me that they had no idea why that had happened, they clearly couldn't be bothered to find out why and said that it would be my responsibility to get in touch with the vendor to sort out another package, even though it was their muck up in the first place. Atrocious service.

Hello Steven, I cannot apologise enough for the poor level of service you received from the make it right team. Once a parcel is being returned to the sender we are not able to amend the delivery further regardless as to who requested this however a formal complaint should have been raised. I appreciate that this was now a while ago but if you require assistance with another parcel moving forward
