Complaint against DPD
Completely disappointed in my experience with DPD and specifically your driver (Dundee Depot- Scotland). I received 2 messages informing me that my Nike packages were due to be delivered today between 9.59 & 10:59- I then used the handy tracking service you offer to see where exactly my parcel was. On opening the tracking page I noticed that my parcel had apparently already been delivered and signed for by SMITH at 10:03. However....I was in the house and had not received nor signed for any packages and there was no card through the letterbox to say they had been delivered to a neighbour. After phoning DPD customer services..at my expense, I was informed that the driver had ACCIDENTLY delivered my packages to number 9, not 11 where I live (no card put through the door to advise of this) after going to collect my parcels from number 9 I discovered that the girl who answered the door at number 9 had been on the telephone and actually didn't sign for the parcel anyway- it was just handed to her and the driver walked off. Thus meaning that the driver himself has falsely signed for the package himself under MY NAME. I am horrified that your drivers think it is acceptable to deliver 100s of pounds worth of stuff to the wrong address and also sign for it themselves. Is this standard procedure for DPD ? Do you deem this acceptable? Highly unsatisfactory service on your behalf. And appalling service from the driver. I will, where possible avoid using DPD services again.
