Complaint against ArrowXL

Delivery was supposed to be made yesterday between 1400 and 1600. At 1438 I saw my phone flash with a missed call from a number ending 252. My phone did not ring so whoever it was called and disconnected immediately. I assumed that was the driver but no voicemail had been left for me. I called back but it was unanswered. An hour later I received a text stating the delivery could not be made. Tracking it online, Arrow's website said they tried to deliver but nobody was home and a card has been left. Wrong on all counts - that was a blatant lie as there were two of us in the lounge the entire time and our doorbell could wake the dead. Very apologetic customer service rep on the phone but that does not help me. I've cancelled the order and I've made clear to the retailer (whom I've spent thousands with) that it is solely due to their choice of courier. I will not be purchasing any more items where Arrow is the courier. Shocking treatment of customers.
