I would like to make a complaint about one of your delivery drivers. Today I received delivery of two bedside tables which I ordered from Very. I'd received a previous delivery on Thursday of two other items of bedroom furniture again from Very. On Thursday I'd asked if they could be taken upstairs, the driver told me he could only do it if the delivery note said 'deliver to room of choice', he scanned it and it did so they took it upstairs. Today when the bedside tables arrived I asked the same thing, the first guy said he wasn't allowed to, I explained that they were allowed to on Thursday, the first guy said he would and started to do it as his colleague came along with the other bedside table, he asked what he was doing? the first guy replied taking these upstairs! The second guy looked me up and down and said "she batted her eye lashes and you come running" he put the package down and stormed off! The first guy ran them upstairs and came back for me to sign, it was then on the signature part I pointed out that it says 'deliver to room of choice', I didn't make him do anything he wasn't supposed to. I had to put up with sexist remarks which just shouldn't happen in the 21st century and was made to feel uncomfortable and inferior and awkward in my own home! At no time would a member of my team be allowed to talk to a customer like that! Not only that but your staff should know what's required from them in their job. If I hadn't had the delivery on Thursday I wouldn't have known what they were supposed to do. I am very angry about the service I received today and will be making this known to Very.
